Community Voucher Program

Though the Mission Marketplace is closed, vouchers may still be scheduled until we no longer have the needed items to distribute. To make voucher appointment please call (410) 848-2222 x 121 to let us know the items you are in need of when you call.

The Mission Marketplace proudly works with a variety of local agencies (see below) that provide furniture vouchers to assist families and individuals in need.

Furniture Vouchers cover the following needs:

  • furniture options
  • small appliances
  • linens
  • dishes

Items not covered under furniture items:

  • leather items
  • brand new items with tags
  • purses
  • clothing – We do recommend reaching out to Shepard Staff or Second Chances through HSP for clothing vouchers.
  • any other items not on your voucher form. Thank you!

You must reach out and work directly with the agencies to see if you will qualify. Here is a list of agencies that are recommended in our area!

  • Social Security
  • Shepard Staff
  • Human Services Program of Carroll County
  • Spectrum Support – Frederick
  • Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake – Step program
  • Potomac Case Management
Guidelines for Voucher Assistance
  1. Appointments must be made at 10:00am or 2:00pm Tuesdays or Thursdays
  2. Vouchers are good for 60 days. You may return twice to get items that were not available before.
  3. We reserve the right to deny a voucher to customers who are disruptive or disrespectful to any staff, clients or customer of WRM.
  4. For two families or unmarried people at the same household, only one person will be receiving a furniture voucher.
  5. Delivery is currently available for an additional fee. Please see our delivery page under our Store tab for more information.

Please note there are items that are “in-store” sale only, and are not available on our website. If there are specific items you’re looking for that are not in-store at the time of your visit, we welcome you to come back to look for those items for up to 2 more times in 60 days. If the items are present, but they are not to your liking, we will consider them refused. Any items that are refused will not be available to shop if you decide to return.
